1、help用作名词，意思是“帮助、援助”，可以是物质上的，也可以是精神上的或经济上的。例如：Can you help me to learn English？你能帮助我学英语吗？
2、help用作动词，后面可以跟带to的动词不定式作宾语补足语，也可以不跟。例如：This book is of great help to me.这本书对我很有帮助。
3、help表示“帮助”时，后面接不定式或宾语和不定式，但绝不可接动名词。例如：Can you help him with this work？你能帮助他完成这项工作吗？
